프렌치프레스 세포파쇄기(FRENCH Press Cell Disrupter) “Cell disruption w/o any heat” 미국 Glen Mills사의 FRENCH Press G-M™은 세포막과 세포벽을 깨는데 사용되는 장비로서 다양한 원핵생물, 진핵생물, 혈구세포, 동물조직, 식물세포 등으로부터 단백질, 핵산 등 세포 속 성분들을 추출하기 위하여 이용됩니다. 최대 40,000psi의 압력이 유압펌프에 의해 구동된 High Pressure Piston에 의해 시료챔버에 가해지고 시료가 미세노즐을 통과할때 발생하는 안밖의 압력 차이에 의해 세포는 파쇄되고 단백질, 핵산 등 세포 구성분자들이 추출되게 됩니다. 타 기법으로 세포를 파쇄할때 발생하는 열이 발생하지 않아 열에 의해 세포 구성성분들의 변성이 없으며 수율 또한 약 2배 정도 타 방식에 비해 증가하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. <적용분야> 효소추출(Enzyme preparation and isolation) 박테리아 및 식물세포 파쇄(Bacterial and plant tissue disintegration) 세포내 단백질 및 핵산 회수(Recovery of intercellular proteins and nucleic acid) 바이러스항원 분리(Preparation of viral antigens for EIA test kits) 식품중 미생물 회수(Disruption of food material for recovery of microorganism) 독소등 회수(Recovery of spores and toxins) E-coli bacteria, Proteins, Algae, Plant Cells, Yeast, Cell wall polymers(Methanogens)
